Private Vintage Wine Collection

Barossa Chateau sits in one of Australia’s most important rose garden, of international significance. Combined with Lyndoch hill, the overall estate covers an impressive 25 acres, and boasts over 22 acres of dedicated rose garden with 5kms of pathway.
We are proud to be on Ngadjuri land and to be associated with Ngadjuri people presenting cultural tours & experiences.

With the proclamation of a public holiday on the 22nd September 2022, to celebrate the life and achievements of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II we wish to advise our guests and community that both Lyndoch Hill Restaurant and Barossa Chateau will be closed for public bookings and traditional services on this day. Accommodation services remain available during this period.

Please be advised that due to the Her Majesty’s 2002 visit to the Barossa for the purpose of attending and opening our property, Barossa Chateau will be opening the doors to our community and general public during the televised memorial even and for a 2 hour duration.

10am – 12 noon

Complimentary tea & coffee will be available along with our famous scones jam and cream.

Wine will be available for purchase by the glass with 100% of the revenue being contributed to our adored and worthy local volunteer organisation, Barossa Wildlife Rescue. Any and all donations on the day will be to the same beneficiary.

We speak of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II on a daily basis, so we look forward to sharing our stories and the unique landmarks and art pieces which will forever link us to our monarch. Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of our newly proclaimed King, Charles III.
